First of all, the Clean Air program is aimed at owners and co-owners of single-family homes. Owners or co-owners of separate premises in a single-family building can also benefit from co-financing. However, the premises must have a separate land register.
Using the Clean Air program we can receive subsidies of different amounts. Three thresholds have been established: basic co-financing of up to PLN 66,000, co-financing increased to PLN 99,000 and the highest co-financing, which can be up to PLN 135,000. The amount of subsidy received depends on the level of household income.
The Clean Air program facilitates the replacement of building elements that affect its energy efficiency. One such element is the exterior door. However, if we want to receive funding from the program, we must remember that the selected doors meet the appropriate parameters.
The aim of the program is to retain as much heat as possible inside the building. Therefore, when choosing exterior doors, we must pay special attention to their heat transfer coefficient (Uw). It informs us about the level of thermal insulation of a given model. To be more precise, the heat transfer coefficient shows how much heat energy escapes for 1m2 partitions (in this case, doors).
When applying for funding from the Clean Air program for the replacement of exterior doors, it should be borne in mind that the heat transmittance must not exceed 1.3W/ (m2K).
Depending on the destination (external doors for basements, garages or technical rooms) are recommended models S1000, K1000, K3000. As an entrance door, it is worth choosing a model with increased thermal and operational parameters, i.e. ST1000, ST2000, ST3000 Premium or Passive. In the case of Passiv, the permeability can be up to 0.65 W/ (m2K). When choosing a door, you should also pay attention to the fact that the thermal parameter of a glazed door is sometimes slightly worse than that of a solid door. However, all the listed models meet the thermal parameter required by the Clean Air program.
The Clean Air program aims to improve air quality. A step in this direction is to increase the energy efficiency of single-family homes. Therefore, the program makes it possible to receive subsidies for building elements, affecting this coefficient. Under Clean Air, you can replace the opening joinery. However, in order to receive funding, it is necessary to ensure that the selected elements have the appropriate parameters. Explore our offer aluminum exterior doors and steel door!
